Magnificent Georgian mansion Hemmingford House, set in three acres of grounds,  this Grade II-listed hostel is only two miles from Shakespeare’s birthplace with easy access to historic Stratford-upon-Avon.

See performances by the world renowned Royal Shakespeare Company or visit nearby Warwick Castle, one of England’s finest Medieval castles.

By arrangement with an external provider, this hostel offers Drama Workshops, Mask Making Workshops and Storytelling Workshops.  

In the grounds are three MegaPods, each accommodating four people.  The restaurant, which seats 70, is open to residents and the public. There is a large car park at the rear of the hostel.  

Volunteering with YHA is a fantastic way to have fun, learn new skills, boost your CV and travel to different places. We have a variety of different opportunities to choose from and volunteering roles to suit everyone.  

The tasks are varied and in return you will meet some great people, who both work and stay in our hostels, as well as enjoying your time off discovering the local area and attractions.
