YHA Grinton Lodge
This beautiful grade 2 listed building was built in 1817, primarily used as a hunting lodge for it's superb location on the Swaledale hills. Fast forward 200 years, this hostel is ideal for walkers, cyclists and for people who want a quiet weekend away!
Our neighbouring village is the quiet village of Reeth, which dates all the way back to Saxon times. Only a 30 minuet walk or 5 minute drive away, it has everything you need from pubs, to cafes, a post office and a hairdressers.
If you’re a keen walker, cyclist or even just an explorer, there’s plenty of places to go to keep you busy!
Maybe you have a keen eye to detail and a steady hand to freshen up the paint inside the hostel, or maybe you’d prefer to spend your time outside looking at the spectacular view while tidying up the garden… let us know what you would like to help us with and we’ll see you soon!
